Not anymore! This week is all about the supporting cast - the condiments! Those hard-working and highly flavoured additions that make a meal delicious.
Ketchups, mustards, salsas, chutneys, jams, pickles, mayo.... sweet or savoury. Our toppings are tops!
So get out your mortar and pestles, blenders, food processors or machetes - whatever you use to get the perfect consistency on that perfect Jamie Oliver condiment - and show us what you've whipped up!
Post your J.O. condiment on or by Sunday, September 11th and link up with Mr. Linky below.
Can't wait to see your condimental creations!

This is going to be a fun week. I haven't made too many condiments so it should be fun doing something new in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it too - I live for condiments. I wish I had a whole 'nother fridge - just for my condiment collection!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Natashya. I too, love my condiments--my little fridge is jammed full of them. Just have to figure what to make now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteJamie's simple cheesy mustard was delicious. One of my favorite Jamie recipes in the past 6 months.
ReplyDeleteThat cheesy mustard looks amazing Kim. I took inspiration from your strawberry jam last week and "localized" Jamie's recipe to use guava & yuzu. Pink & tasty. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a condiment-lovin' fool! Great theme.
ReplyDeleteThis week, I made JO's Winter Crunch Salad w/ Mind Blowing Sauce. Only my salad was more of a mix between early spring (carrots) and summer (squash, green beans) crunch!
I was "jammin'" this week, too. My take on the strawberry vanilla jam. So. Good!
ReplyDeleteOh my stars if all vegetables could be coated in honey and lemon, then roasted with garlic cloves I would eat all the vegetables on my plate. Great theme this week!
ReplyDeleteSalsa verde is up!
