Nuts and Seeds!

Sometimes you feel like a NUT...    (or maybe a SEED!?!)
It's time to pick a Yotam Ottolenghi recipe that includes Nuts and Seeds of any kind.


So just go NUTS and don't be afraid if things get a little SEEDY!

This theme comes at a very good time for me. I'm obsessed with Ottolenghi's toasted and buttered pine nuts. Can't wait to use them in a recipe.

I know I'm double dipping on this one with all that green AND added sesame seeds! It was good, folks! And Kim! I, too, love the pine nuts! Have you tried the pear crostini with goat cheese and pine nuts ? Glorious!

Susan - No, I haven't tried the pear crostini, but I will add it to my list :) I love all those ingredients so I'm sure it'd be a big hit.

Aubergine & Parsley Pesto: I LOVED! The guys did not. They don't know anything. Getting ready for house guests this weekend...will visit everyone as soon as I can.

I took the seasoning ingredient list from the Rosemary Spiced Nuts sold online at Ottolenghi's website and used it to make Spiced Garam Masala & Rosemary Roasted Nuts. Fabulous!

I've been wanting to try the tahini cookies for a long time and finally got around to it. I'd definitely describe them as an adult cookie because they are very subtle and not very sweet at all. Very mild and pleasant though!
