This week we're making Starters & Nibbles ... Choosing Nigel Slater recipes that are perfect as appetisers or shared plates, dips, spreads, or great dishes to pass around at a get-together. Whichever way you're headed, you'll find Nigel has loads of great ideas for serving up great tasting dishes.
So get those cookbooks out or look at any of the appropriate online sources, choose any Nigel Slater recipe that you think would make a delicious Starter or Nibble, and post your dish by Sunday 6 July.

I'm going nuts this week!
ReplyDeleteOlives, cheese and grilled veg made a delicious start to a summer meal.
ReplyDeleteI'm on a roll! two weeks in a row! This week, it's traditional salmon for the 4th of July! But wait! Salmon small bite starters instead of poached salmon with peas and new potatoes!
ReplyDeleteI used favas or broad beans again: broad bean & dill "hummus!
ReplyDeleteLittle pancake-like Green Onion & Ricotta Omelettes--a nice little starter. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely loved Nigel's Chicken Cakes. One of our faves! I'm going to be on vacation this coming week, so I probably won't have a chance to post an eat around the globe dish, but I look forward to seeing what everyone makes!
