May Potluck!

Here at I Heart Cooking Clubs we are going on six years of cooking wonderful recipes written by our favorite chefs! Potluck week is our week to celebrate all our chefs, past and present. Whether you chose to revisit a favorite chef or stay current and cook with Jacques Pepin, there is sure to be a recipe for you! Either way, I'm sure you'll find a recipe for success!

Chose a recipe from any of the twelve chefs below
Nigella Lawson
Mark Bittman
Giada de Laurentiis
Jamie Oliver
Tessa Kiros
Rick Bayless
Madjur Jaffrey
Yotam Ottolenghi
Donna Hay
Nigel Slater

Jacques Pépin

The choice is yours!

To join in the May Potluck fun, just post and link your dish by Sunday, May 31st

Please remember to link a thumbnail image and leave a comment after you link so that we don't miss out on your dish.

A huge thank you to everyone that made a dish In Honor of Deb last week. Your compassion, support, and kind words are appreciated. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful group of friends here at IHCC! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We have received some wonderful suggestions for July's mystery box ingredients. However, if you have any suggestions for July's themes please leave them in the comments section of this post. We appreciate all your feedback and will have July's themes and MBM up next week.

A simple stew that was meant to honor an on-line friend. Deb, I hope you're gathered close with family and friends. I'm so sorry to hear of your sad loss.
Giada's comfort food ... in your honor ... just a bit late and added to this week's pot luck.

I brought a salad and a cake, both from Ottolenghi, for this month's potluck.

Thank you for keeping me on my toes and inspiring me!
I made a Jamie Oliver Store cupboard lentil soup but adapted it to ingredients and I had on hand, minimizing food wastage!
Jamie and I have a bit of a food history! :)

Re the list of ingredients re July!

I thought it might be fun to use ingredients with the letters in our name for a bit of a fun twist...sounds okay?

Thank you again and hope today is a good day for all and especially to Deb and her family!

Some suggestions for the mystery box: milk, mozzarella cheese, noodles (wheat, rice, mung bean etc...), mint, chicken, peas, mangoes, brown sugar, olive oil

I had to share something to honor Deb, even a week late.
