***A quick announcement before we talk about this week's theme...IT'S VOTING TIME! That's right. One more month of cooking with Giada...then we bring a guy into the kitchen. Who do you want to spend the next 6 months with? Rick Bayless...Bobby Flay...or Jamie Oliver. Those are your choices. I've got to say, I'm looking forward to spending time with whichever guy wins the vote...I enjoy them all! Check out the sidebar and place your vote. The poll will stay open for 2 weeks. I want asparagus spears poking their tips through the soil. I want tiny red strawberries, packed with sweet juices. I want baby lettuces and spring garlic and fleshy little apricots. Not to mention tangy rhubarb and sweet little peas and peppery watercress.

I am going to be rooting for Bobby Flay as the next chef! I have a few of his recipes bookmarked and I would love an excuse to buy his Mesa cookbook :)

Building a new garden, and can't wait for all the fresh veggies!! Hoping for Rick Bayless since I am planting lots of peppers!!!
I can't wait to see who wins the vote for our boy chef coming up. I voted for Jamie BUT have checked some Bayless and Flay out iof the library. Just to see what they have to offer.
Just posted my spring fever pick, going to try to join you guys for the last few Giada weeks and am excited about our next chef, they all sound great!
Giada's Pastina with Peas and Carrots was a real winner! It will definitely be a new staple for us.
Would like a little more spring right this second. Loud storm--wind and rain--have been up since 3:00 AM & can't sleep, sirens, power has been off twice. Might as well post, right?! ;-)
Giada's Salmon in Lemon Brodetto with Pea Purée was delicious and very spring-like.
I like the idea of cooking the recipes of Bobby Flay. He's so fearless in the kitchen.
I just voted for Jamie Oliver, though I would gladly accept Rick Bayless.

We LOVED this orzo with fontina and peas recipe from Giada. It will be so interesting to see which guy wins the vote! I'm ready for the next chef!
Ooohh spring is around the corner.I can't wait too much longer,but for now this dish will do.
And I'm kinda excited about some Rick Bayless recipes in the middle of summer,but I will be thrilled with any of the choices.
