We Be Chillin'!

A little to much sweatin' going on in your neck of the woods?!

Well... chill, baby, chill!

This is your lucky week because We Be Chillin' with Jamie Oliver!

Yep, since many of us are dealing with extra-warm weather right now, it is time to turn off that oven and bring out the cold foods.

Salads, smoothies, cold soups, fresh fruit, raw veggies, ice cream or other frozen treats...

Really any kind of cold food you can imagine...

So if you want to Be Chillin' in your hood, just make any Jamie Oliver recipe featuring cold foods and post it by Sunday July 31st.

Don't forget to link your post of the week's with Mr. Linky below, so we can all enjoy your cool and fabulous creation! Remember to leave a comment after, each week that you use Mr. Linky to link your post, just to be sure we don't miss anyone.

Not sure what a permalink is? Check out our Welcome post.

If you missed the Bevvies theme last week, be sure to head on over and see all of the delicious "sippables" that everyone made!

Don't forget, we're cooking through the recipes of Jamie Oliver right now...so if you've linked up, be sure that you've used/adapted one of his recipes for your post!

I could definitely use some chilling! This morning's thunderstorm left my parched postage stamp of earth saying "ahhhhhh".
Perfect timing, Deb!

Oh funny story: So I am a day late on the bevies theme and decided to sneak it in tonight at the last minute.I write the post and get ready to post it and Mr. Winky had expired for that theme.I got lucky,it's fits for the Chillin' theme. And it also taught me not to be late! Yay for Mixed Berry Champagne!

Meredith - I am right there with you! My weekend expired on me, and I still have my bevvie to do! I'm thinking of doing one for this week as well. ☺ Mixed berry champagne sounds wonderful!

Just had to drink the leftover sparkling wine from making the summer fruit jellies. The sacrifices I make! ;-)

Summer jellies are up!

Cold Soup, but mine was lukewarm. The temperature, not the reviews, it was really good.

I made Jamie's Greek Salad with the leftovers turned into Greek Salad Gazpacho (his suggestion).
