Comforting Curries

Whether spicy or mild, light or more decadent, meat or veggie, curries are the ultimate Indian comfort food.

This week we are  celebrating those delicious and Comforting Curries.

Pick your favorite Madhur Jaffry curry dish from online or one of her many books and get to cooking.

Make and post those Comforting Curries by Sunday, November 18th. Don't forget to link your post of the week's with Mr. Linky below, so we can all enjoy your fabulous creation! Remember to leave a comment after, each week that you use Mr. Linky to link your post, just to be sure we don't miss anyone.

  3. The hardest part of this week's challenge was choosing -- there are so many delicious ones, Indian and otherwise, in Jaffrey's books.

  9. I'm not familiar enough with the spice combos yet to know by reading which is a curry and which is something different...but I ran across this Baked Beef Curry that suited us really well! Okay...so we add 10 more cookbooks...isn't variety the spice of Life??

  11. I made Boatmans Curry. I had to leave out a lot of the chilli called for in this recipe, as my partner can't cope with any kind of heat. I was a bit worried that I'd find it totally bland, but what a great surprise. It was so full of flavour, the absence of heat didn't matter at all. Loved this dish, will definitely be making it again.
