Our first week of I Heart Cooking Clubs deserves a party, don't you think?
This week's challenge is Party Treats. Find a recipe online or in one of Nigella's cookbooks, and whip up the perfect party treat to celebrate. It can be as simple or elaborate as you wish. A fun cocktail, playful appetizer, or wild dessert.. the options are endless!
Post on your blog and Link your completed post to Mr. Linky below, on or by September 20th.
Looking forward to lots of great treats, so glad you could join us!
Link your IHeart Cooking Clubs post of the week's permalink with Mr. Linky, below, so we can all see your fabulous cooking club creation! Please leave a comment after, each week that you use Mr. Linky to link your post, just to be sure we don't miss anyone.
Don't know what a permalink is? Please refer to the Welcome page.
My party treats are in!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Perfect game fare.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much to Chaya, Kim & Pierce for linking up already! You gals rock...as does our lady Nigella :)
ReplyDeleteWe had these watermelon daiquiris tonight - delish! They really pack a punch, oh my!
ReplyDeleteYea! It worked! Sometimes computers challenge me...haha
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun and something that I would enjoy. I would love to participate as often as I can, so please add me to your blogroll. I host a weekly blog event called Crock Pot Wednesday which keeps me busy especially during the school year, but I would love to experiment more with Nigella. I think she is terrifically talented. It is indeed a great party! What a gorgeous dip, so artfully presented.

ReplyDeleteSo, link away, and enjoy!
I'm here! Did you save any goodies for me?
ReplyDeleteMegan - Yay! Bring on the chocolate butter!
ReplyDeleteCiao ! I just saw your party...let's see if I find something to carry !!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found out about this in time to get in on the fun! It sounds like it's going to be a great event!
ReplyDeleteWe would love to be included in the IHCC Blogroll!
I may be the last one to the party ... but I come bearing cheesy feet for your munching pleasure!
ReplyDeleteWould it be an idea to have a Facebook group for I Heart Cooking Clubs people? Sometimes I think it would be nice to chat about something which this group, but there's not really a good place for that to happen. ... Unless there is, and I've overlooked it?
ReplyDeleteHey Kaye, You are right, there really isn't a good place for chat. We had a twitter feed in the early days but I don't think anyone uses it anymore. Definitely something to kick around as I know many of us are on Facebook. We'll discuss it and let you know. ;-)
