Yay curries! I already made mine last night, to go with my chutney. Will post in a couple of days.
I made mine last night too. It is the first curry I've ever liked! Will have the post up at the end of the week.
The hardest part of this week's challenge was choosing -- there are so many delicious ones, Indian and otherwise, in Jaffrey's books.
(Can we have the December themes soon? With the holidays coming, it's time to Plan Ahead a bit. :-)
Fish curry at my place, it was just Ok for me. Lots of other curries that I have bookmarked!
I'm with Kaye for Dec, as planning for a short holiday break!
Thanks!
Woot! Love the enthusiasm! We'll have December up by the end of today. (Tuesday). Happy Cooking!
Dec and Jan! Thanks a zillion, Natashya!
Savory mushroom curry for me this week. ;-)
I'm not familiar enough with the spice combos yet to know by reading which is a curry and which is something different...but I ran across this Baked Beef Curry that suited us really well! Okay...so we add 10 more cookbooks...isn't variety the spice of Life??
I'm really excited about the shrimp curry I tried. Very good! Need to make it again soon.
I made Boatmans Curry. I had to leave out a lot of the chilli called for in this recipe, as my partner can't cope with any kind of heat. I was a bit worried that I'd find it totally bland, but what a great surprise. It was so full of flavour, the absence of heat didn't matter at all. Loved this dish, will definitely be making it again.
Almost forgot to post!! Whew!! Everyone's dish sounds delicous.
Delicious chicken curry at my place!
Post is up.
It's only a curried soup but I wanted to save the beetroot curry for next week. :)
Natashya - You had me at mustard...ha ha. Your curry looks very colorful and pretty. Love the carrot garnish!
Natashya, I have been eyeing that dish for quite sometime now, will definitely be trying this out! Looks so good!
Thanks so much! It really was tasty. I'm looking forward to visiting all the comforting curries today!
