Resolutions (This time I'm going to keep them.)

In 2011, I resolve to...

Smile more often.
Do more good deeds.
Get back into yoga.  Cuz man I felt better when I wasn't so lazy.
Eat more whole grains.
To not deny myself of the good things in life.
We want to know what your resolutions are!  Your foodie resolutions, at least.  Are you going to cook up some whole grains?  Try an exotic fruit you've never even heard of before?  Devour your veggies?  How 'bout eating all local?  All free-range or organic?  Drink more alcohol?  Eat more chocolate?  Hey...we're not here to judge...just to lend support.

Head into the kitchen with Giada and IHCC this week and start your year off with a bang!  What are your RESOLUTIONS?
Make and post your Resolutions post by Sunday, January 9th. Don't forget to link your post of the week's with Mr. Linky below, so we can all enjoy your fabulous creation! Remember to leave a comment after, each week that you use Mr. Linky to link your post, just to be sure we don't miss anyone.

Not sure what a permalink is? Check out our Welcome post.

If you missed the Celebrate theme last week, be sure to head on over and see all of the delicious dishes everyone brought!

Don't forget, we're cooking through the recipes of Giada De Laurentiis right if you've linked up, be sure that you've used/adapted one of her recipes for your post!

I am resolved to enjoy life as much as I can this year :-) I really want to get past all the silly worrying that ultimately means nothing - and, of course, eat great food!

Yay, love it!
This year I need to start wii-ing more often, and definitely try new things cooking-wise.
Bur first I am going back to bed...
Thanks Heather!

Hi Roz, yep, we are still a cooking club, still cooking Giada's recipes. Feel free to link up any Giada recipe that you cook this week. Cheers!

My focus is on recommitting to my healthier eating goals and to get more greens in my diet--like Giada's Spinach Cannellini Bean Dip that I just posted--a healthy, filling snack that tastes great.

BTW--I am on a business trip and am going to be a bit behind on my visiting but I look forward to seeing everyones posts. ;-)

Hi guys, Happy New Year :) I've missed cooking along with you all. I have my Giada "resolution" dish in the oven right of my many resolutions being to use up more items from the fridge/pantry for weeknight meals, also to participate in my favorite blogging groups (wink wink) more!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Great resolution, Andrea!! Can't wait to see what you're cooking up :D

My resolution - don't let anything go to waste! Also, make yogurt more often...
My pasta is up.

Giada's marinara fit nicely with two food things I'll strive to do this year (resolution is a dirty word to me!). I want to use fewer processed foods and better plan meals based on what I have on hand.

Natashya-I just read your post and that's exactly what I'd like to do.

MM - thanks so much! I am like you - no big promises, just a few tweaks for the better. :-)

I am really enjoying all of your posts and resolutions. I resolve to eat lots of good food in 2011! Just keepin' it realistic ;-)

Just got my post up for Spicy Baked Macaroni, it was delicious and helped use up some of the pantry/fridge/freezer stash. Sounds like that is a popular resolution this year!

Have a great weekend :)

I'm Back!! I've missed posting recipes here! We've had lot's of computer/internet issues, but hopefully it's all worked out. I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed 2011.

Natashya - I'm with you - I'm making pasta more often - very envious of your special pasta extruder though! I've just posted Whole-Wheat Fettucine (home-made) with Green Beans, Ricotta (also home-made) and of course the ubiquitous lemon - very yummy!

I may be last so far this week, but I got a recipe in. This Giada recipe was good, but needing tweaking a bit. Glad everyone is holding strong to their resolutions! I know that I am, or else I am going to be one sad camper! LOL! Roz at La Bella Vita
