Monthly Featured Dish/Ingredient Challenge: Cakes!

This week, cakes take the cake as they are the subject of our Monthly Featured Dish/Ingredient Challenge.

Join in the fun by making any recipe for any type of cake (sweet, savory, cupcakes, crab cakes, potato cakes, pancakes...if it has cake in the title, it's fair game) from any of our past or present IHCC chefs (see the full IHCC chefs listing on the sidebar or under the header). As always, feel free to share any of your favorite cake recipes from our IHCC chefs within your post.
