Everything's Better with Yogurt!

Indian cuisine is proof that Everything is better with Yogurt!
There are so many different ways to showcase yogurt in Indian cuisine.
Blend your yogurt into a creamy, fruity, and healthy Mango Lassi.

Cool things down with a dunk in some Indian yogurt and cucumber sauce.
Add yogurt to your curry or use it as a garnish on top.
Or use yogurt as a marinade for some delicious Tandoor chicken!

Open up your books and find a way to incorporate yogurt into your dish this week.  Make and post your Everything's Better with Yogurt dish by Sunday, October 28th.  Remember to leave a comment after using Mr. Linky so that we don't miss out on your dish.

If you'd like more information, check out our Welcome post!

Head over to last week's Lentil Love if you missed any of our comforting lentil dishes.

The eggplant I made was spicy--loved how the minty yogurt cooled it down.

It's chicken with yoghurt for me! Sultanas in it, yummy!

We are having a warm and humid week so Jaffrey's Pale Green, Spicy, Minty Lassi really hit the spot. ;-)

Simple orange lassi. Just right on a hot (or cooler) day.

I really enjoyed the flavor of the baked beef curry. The combined flavors were phenomenal, but I suspect I minced the onions too finely and they detracted from the mouthfeel of the dish. I'll definitely make this again, and experiment some more. :)

I made a yogurt side dish...kind of a relish type to be served at the end of the meal...

I'm a little late with my yoghurt post, but hope you don't mind me just sneaking in this yoghurt marinated baked lamb. Was sooo worth the wait.
