Great post--very fun and welcoming. ;-) I am looking forward to cooking all of Giada's different recipes.
ROFL!!! ha ha ha ha...thanks, that was awesome...let the smiles abound! I actually cooked something Giada last night...and it was pretty good, so that's a good start! Way to welcome in our new chef, N! =)
LOL, soo awesome! I also appreciate that enthusiasm picture :P Just wait... Luckily I scanned through my single G book and found lots of little appetizers to try :)
I'm so excited about cooking with Giada's recipes....this should be so much fun, full of big smiles and yes, LOTS of Italian enthusiasm! Grazie mille, amici! Roz
My Italian antipasto tray is up!
Very cute post Natashya! Can't wait to get cooking in the kitchen with Giada.
Good morning! My Rice Pudding with Vanilla Bean, Orange and Rum is up. I was going to do mini pizzas but we got home late - and cold. So rice pudding it was! I may still do the mini pizzas tonight or tomorrow.
Cheers!
My soup is up! And yes, I loved it!
So excited about cooking Giada for the next 6 months and sharing with all of you! My link is up for the Bruschetta with Fontina and Greens.
Great, Shelley! Glad you are cooking with us!
My White Bean Dip & Pita Chips are posted. ;-) Yum!
Yum! Great stuff so far.
I did manage to do my Zucchini and Olive Flatbreads, they are up today. ☺
Natashya, I must know what kind of bulb you are using in your lamps. That rice pudding photo looks great, even without natural light!
Joanna - I just use a goose-neck desk lamp (the kind that can swivel and bend around) with 100 watt incandescent bulb.
And, thanks!
Natashya - your little pizzette look fabulous! I've been looking for something snacky to feed my parents this weekend, and this just might be it!
Natashya- That rice pudding looks amazing! I actually eyeballed that recipe too. Will definitely have to make it during the 6 months with Giada.
Natashya - your rice pudding looks gorgeous (even though I don't like rice pudding) and your little pizzas look sensational.
Kim - thanks for your recommendation last week of the Giada's Kitchen book - I've just ordered it.
I've just posted "Roman-style Chicken" - not really an appetiser, since we just really don't do them around here. I am normally teaching at "appetiser-time", and by the time I finish work at 7.30 we're anxious to get straight to the main course!!

Just posted some addictive crostini with sun-dried tomato jam. They were so good!
Okay, my first post for this group, I left the link but I didn't write the name of the recipe, how does one do that? I will do better next week...lol. I made Pecorino Crackers for the Party Food theme. We LOVE them, make them probably twice a month around here.
Yay for Giada food. I love ethnic foods and Italian has to be one of my favs, even though I went outside the box for this first post. Thai? LOL.
Kayte - Don't sweat it, you did a great job linking up! If you'd like to add the name of your recipe, you can add it to the first line of Mr. Linky, the line where you type your name. For example:
Kayte - Pecorino Crackers
Feel free to link up however you choose though. We don't really have any rules. We are very happy to have you though!
Hot damn I loking forward to this 6 months! I am on vacation and don't have possession of my own computer but I sure will be joining in when I return to Florida. All of what you all have posted sounds amazing!!! Yum :-)
Ciao a tutti ! I should start visiting all of you because every recipe sounds wonderful !!
Getting in just under the wire, but I couldn't miss the first week! I made Giada's Bruschetta with Gorgonzola and Honey, it was delicious. So excited to be cooking Giada's recipes with everyone :)
What's a welcome party without alcohol!? No worries...I brought it!
I am sorry I am late - I have written the post, taken the photo, but had a lousy couple of days at work that threw me into dumps.
I am glad to see that Andrea from Nummy Kitchen had made the same appetizer. It really is quite delicious! Looking forward to much more to come!
Me again! My Twitter nick is Bibberche (surprise, surprise). Next time I promise to do my homework!
