Well, which comes first in your heart anyway.
Anyone who has seen Jurassic Park will realize that eggs have been around a lot longer than chickens...
The real question is - what are you going to cook up this week?
Will you be doing a roast chicken for the family? A frittata for the one you love? Chicken or egg salad for your lunch box? Or maybe you are thinking fancy - a soufflé, or chicken liver paté.
Choose a chicken or egg dish from one of Jamie Oliver's recipes - in his books or online - cook it up and post on or by Sunday, April 24th.
Link your post up with Mr. Linky, below, and leave a comment after so we don't miss your delicious dish!

Now, you have a chicken to catch. Or an egg. Run!

I'm running, I'm running!! ;) So cute.
Another fun post! I added my link with chicken and mushroom bake :-)
My post is up, eggy bread with strawberry and ricotta.
Happy easter to everybody!
Great post! We loved our pick this week.
Jamie sure does have a habit of taking pictures with animals, doesn't he? LOL! Cute post. Love the enthusiasm for this week's theme. Lots of tasty dishes so far.
Just posted my barbecue chicken.
This was a really fun theme to play with!
I went chicken--with Jamie's Chicken Korma. Creamy and delicious!
That's what I made, too Deb! Haven't posted it yet, but just thought I'd send that "great minds think alike" thing out there ;)
So...a chicken and an egg are relaxing in bed. The chicken lights up a cigarette.
The egg props up and states, "Well I guess that settles THAT question!"
teheehe...you don't have to publish this :-)
Too funny Heather! We do seem to have that cosmic link sometimes (and good taste in recipes! lol). ;-)
Thai Chicken not-so Soup is up!
My Chicken Korma is up now, too!! Mmmmmm!
I made partridge this week. It is "almost" a chicken, no? I used Jamie's pheasant recipe.
